Space is the most expensive commodity in Hong Kong. The architect Gary Chang has therefore created a unique system based on sliding walls: this allows him to accommodate 24 different rooms in an area of just
32 m2. The various uses and furniture are concealed within wall modules which can be moved along two axes. The bed is simply folded up into a vertical position, moved to the other side of the room and you are already in the kitchen, the TV room, the library or the spacious bathroom that even has room for a bathtub.
